How to generate a QR Code For your show

Many shows use a QR code on a flyer or show page to help exhibitors easily navigate to the shows entry form or information page. The function similar to a link but instead of clicking, you use your camera to scan the code.

Pro Tip:

You don't need to use a QR code when sharing directly from your event page or main social media account. Copying and sharing the direct link is often more effective in those cases.

However including a QR code on a show flyer helps to ensure the "link" or how to enter your show doesn't get lost as people share out your flyer.

Step 1 - Copy The URL to the Show Homepage

Navigate to the homepage for your show and click the blue "Share" button found to the right of the show name.

Under the share button you will see an option to "Copy Link", click this and it will save the link to your show in your clipboard.

Step 2 - Go to a free website that generates QR Codes

There are many sites that let you generate a free QR Code that will take you to any website. One we recommend is https://qr.io/

From this site you can Paste the url you copied into the "Submit Url" field.

After your url is pasted in the QR code will automatically be generated on the right as shown below.

From there you can click the "Download PNG" button to get a copy of the QR Code in an image file. This image file can be added to any show graphics you make.

We always recommend testing your QR codes before sharing them out to the public.
