Live Ring Display
Live Ring View is a real-time display feature designed to keep exhibitors, families, and volunteers informed throughout your show day. The display automatically updates to show which class and exhibitors are currently in the ring, who is on deck, and posted results, helping reduce confusion and keep the show running smoothly.
Live Ring View is ideal for projecting on large screens around the show grounds or sharing directly with exhibitors on their mobile devices.
How Live Ring View Works
- The display automatically refreshes every 5 seconds
- Results only appear after an admin clicks “Save Results”
- The screen updates in real time as classes progress
This ensures that only finalized and confirmed results are displayed publicly.
To Access The Live Ring Display: Go to Results > (...) Three dot button in top right corner> Open Live Ring Display
What the Display Shows
Live Ring View includes:
- Current class in the ring
- Exhibitors actively showing
- Upcoming (on-deck) exhibitors
- Completed class results (once saved by an admin)
This allows exhibitors and families to follow along without needing to ask ring stewards or show staff for updates.
Display Setup Options
Live Ring View is flexible and can be displayed in multiple ways, including:
- HDMDI cord connected to a TV or large monitor
- Smart TVs
- Screen sharing to a TV involves connecting your device (phone, tablet, or laptop) to the same Wi-Fi network as your smart TV, then using built-in features like AirPlay (Apple), Screen Cast/Smart View (Android), or casting via apps like YouTube/Google Home. Select the TV name from your device’s menu to start casting.
- Chromecast
- Any Device with a web browser
Simply open the Live Ring View URL on the device you want to display and project it for spectators.
Exhibitor Access (Mobile Friendly)
- The Live Ring View URL can be shared with exhibitors
- Exhibitors can view live updates directly on their phones or personal devices
- No login is required for viewing
This allows exhibitors to monitor ring progress from anywhere on the grounds and be ready when their class is approaching.
