Shows Section - Setting Show Details

The Shows section of your Admin Dashboard is where you will be able to set and edit the information about the individual shows that are happening during your event. This information is displayed to exhibitors and used for pricing and generating the show schedule.

Setting Show Details

To set the show details, just click on any of the shows in the list and you will see a popup that will let you edit the following fields:

Show Name: The name shown is the name exhibitors will see when entering the show and viewing the schedule. The name will also be presented on the check-in section, show books, and results. Note: Name can be edited but do not change to a completely different type of show (ie. Showmanship to Market show) as it is linked to other information on the back end. If you need to change the order of the shows you can drag and drop, see Show Schedule details below.

Judge: To set the judge, begin typing the judge's name and select them from the list. If the judge is not listed, contact your assigned show specialist to get the judge added to the judge list. 

Show Type: Select the corresponding show - Breeding, Market, Showmanship, or Group. The selected type helps individualize the settings and the display of the show. 

Species: Select the species from the drop-down list. If species is not listed, select "other." 

Show Date: Type the date the show will take place.

Show Start Time: Type the start time of the show. You can enter a hard start time when a show will begin at that exact time, i.e. 10 AM. If there is no hard start time, type the planned start time, for example, 30 minutes after 1st show ends. For rolling schedule or no hard start time we recommend leaving the start time blank. Details: Any additional details about the show that you want exhibitors to know. This can include: # of champions being selected, payouts, show-specific rules, and other information. 

Tip: Don't add in too many details here! Your Show Schedule will look cluttered and be hard to navigate if there is a lot of details text. If you do have a lot of additional information, consider uploading a document to your home page that exhibitors can view. Then, in the show details, you could say "View show rules document for more details."

Pricing: Here you can set the pricing for your show. By default, a normal rate and a late rate will be available. When setting the late rate, please remember to put in the full rate the exhibitors will need to pay, not just the additional fee.

If you do not have a late rate, you must enter the normal rate again in the "late rate" box.

The Show Schedule

You can drag and drop the shows to put them in the correct order. When done changing the order make sure to click the "Save Order" button. The order will correspond directly to how the show schedule will be generate on the Show homepage. 

Hard start times (8AM, 8:00 AM, etc.) will be shown on the left side of show in large bold text. Approximate show times will be presented on the left in smaller font. Before every hard start time a light border will be included. We recommend only adding in the times that are hard starts, if one show is following another you can either leave it blank and then simply drag it into the correct order.
