Show review/testing checklist (for show host/coordinator)
Here is a checklist to review before publishing your show. After reviewing, let your show specialist know when you are ready to publish your show.
EVENT Section:
[ ] Is your contact information and refund policy entered in the Overview tab?
[ ] Is the full show website/facebook listed so that it works? Test the link from your show homepage to see if it works. (needs full url including https://)
[ ]Are settings correct? (Late dates, cc fees, etc.).
[ ] Do entry questions make sense– Wording? Question structure or answer type? Note that if a question is a checkbox answer AND required, exhibitors will be forced to check the box. Make sure that is what you want to happen. If not, a dropdown may be the better option. Help article with more information: Entry Question Help Article
[ ] Do all files and links work?
[ ] Are they entry fields correct?
SHOWS Section:
[ ] Are all show details (dates, start times, judges etc.) added in and correct? At a minimum, there needs to be date and pricing set for each show. (Even if shows are all same day, the date should be set). Click each show to edit details.
[ ] Is pricing correct (if there is no late rate, late rate should be filled in the same as normal rate) for each show? If using member pricing or special pricing, be sure to let your show specialist know so they can ensure it is set up correctly.
[ ] Does the show schedule look correct on the homepage? From the Shows section, you can drag and drop shows into correct order.
[ ] Are the entry fields what you’d like for each type of entry? Are there any missing? Check to make sure the entry fields are correct for each entry type. You can do this by going to the Shows section > Entry Types tab
SPONSORS Section:
[ ] Do you want to take online sponsors? Set up sponsor levels using the Sponsors section
[ ] Add in any sponsors that were collected offline so they show up on your homepage (you’ll need to add in sponsor levels before you can add any offline sponsors!)
EXHIBITORS Section:
[ ] Add yourself as an exhibitor and then add test entries for yourself. Add an entry into every type of show in the entry drop-down list. Answer entry questions.
[ ] Are you able to add an entry for each type of entry in the drop-down?
[ ] Is there a show or entry type missing?
[ ] Is the invoicing correct based on your entries and entry question answers?
FINANCIAL Section:
[ ] Click the link to set up your Stripe express account. Help article with more explanation: Setting up your bank account
[ ] Once account is set up, let your show specialist know so they can send a $1 test deposit
[ ] Verify the $1 test deposit once your see it in your bank account (just send an email to your show specialist)
Go to SHOW HOMEPAGE:
[ ] Does your show webpage link work? This can be edited in Event Section if needed.
[ ] Do all files and links work? These can be edited in Event Section if needed.
[ ] Does show schedule look correct? Make edits and change order from Shows section.
[ ] View the Class List (blue link) under each show:
[ ] Are all divisions there? Is the order of divisions correct?
[ ] Is the number of champions correct?
[ ] Any other discrepancies?
